Michigan Psychological Aid opens new branch in Jackson

JACKSON, Michigan - There is one more mental health resource in Jackson. Michigan Psychological Care held a grand opening Friday for its new Jackson location at 437 Fern Ave.
They are open and ready to accept clients now. Their services include individual therapy, group and family counseling, couples counseling, substance abuse counseling, psychological evaluations and more.
"It was very important to me to open a site in Jackson, and seeing that the number of mental health professionals per client needing help was extremely low, we knew we had to move mental health care to Jackson to take care of our Michigan residents," said Director of Corporate Development Lara Hakamaki.
The Jackson office has joined offices in Howell, St. John's, Alma and Midland. They also offer virtual services.
